Dr Adrian McGoldrick: Guardian of the track

Dr Adrian McGoldrick has iconic status among jockeys having worked tirelessly to improve safety and attend to all their medical needs since taking over as senior medical officer at the Turf Club in 2007. While continuing to run a busy general practice in Newbridge, he is researching, rallying, and lobbying for the best practices to avoid injury, as well as to ensure greater understanding, and support of depression and concussion.

That man should be made a saint. Words can’t describe how amazing he was, and still is, for me.
