Trip and ground should suit Tuzo

Two meetings in Ireland today, and the nap goes to Tuzo, who contests the opening three-mile rated novice hurdle at Wexford.

Paul Nolan’s six-year-old secured his sole success to date came when edging out the smart Robin Thyme in a bumper over two miles at this venue back in October, but hasn’t set the world alight in three runs over hurdles since.

However, he has contested some decent races, and this certainly looks his easiest task to date over timber. The step up to three miles ought to suit, as should the conditions for the gelding who is by Flemensfirth out of a Turtle Island mare.
