For the second consecutive weekend, Boherash Messiah proved the star turn on a Saturday night at Curraheen Park, Joan Hanrahan’s experienced tracker posting the fastest time on the card.

The 5-2 chance moved left from traps and clashed with Burgess Import, but recovered quickly to take the rails slot racing to the turn.

With a fine turn of pace, he took over from Gwan Slab as the third bend loomed, and stayed on strongly to beat that rival by two and a half lengths, in 28.62.
