Seamus Heffernan will be unavailable to Aidan O’Brien during Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend after he lost an appeal against a 10-day suspension picked up at the Curragh last Sunday.

Heffernan was riding In Salutem in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund “Bold Lad” Sprint Handicap (Premier Handicap) and crossed the line second behind George Bowen.

The stewards found him guilty of dangerous riding when he interfered with An Saighdiur and Creggs Pipes.
