One of three runners in the race for Willie Mullins and passed over by stable jockey Ruby Walsh in favour of 11-8 favourite Dicosimo, Buiseness Sivola was a 7-1 shot having run a fair race in the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival.

Paul Townend positioned his mount close to the speed from the outset and took over the running from the pacesetting Chatham House Rule from the home turn.
