Mogol impresses on debut over jumps

Liz Doyle’s Kauto Grand Mogol, a half-brother to Kauto Star, certainly shapes as a horse for the future, on the basis of an impressive debut over jumps in the www.limerickraces.ie Maiden Hurdle at Limerick yesterday.

Willie Mullins’ long-absent Uranna, getting a bucket of weight from her rival, was preferred in the market, but it was no contest on the track.

Brian O’Connell asked the winner to lead with a circuit to cover and the six-year-old then produced a fine combination of jumping and staying power.
