She went off at 1-2 on that occasion, but proved no match for Ger Lyons’ shock winner, Crafted Mastery.
That winner led from start to finish and Adeste Fideles, making a belated seasonal debut and having only the second outing of her life, never promised to get on terms.
The daughter of Giant’s Causeway is entitled to come on plenty for that much-needed outing, however, and should also be well suited to stepping up a furlong in trip.
Aidan O’Brien trains Adeste Fideles and runs two in the featured Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Premier Nursery, top weight Rule The Waves and Cocoon.

The opening Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Maiden may be best left to Michael O’Callaghan’s Clutchingatstraws.
She made a very promising start behind the useful Shepherd’s Purse at the Curragh and there is every reason to think will build on that performance.
