The weights for Easter Monday’s Boylesports Irish Grand National are set to rise by 3lb after Fairyhouse manager Peter Roe confirmed yesterday that the Paul Webber-trainedCantlow was a definite traveller.

That follows the defection of current top weight Don Cossack and the withdrawal of Bog Warrior and Double Seven. Bog Warrior is being aimed at the Powers Gold Cup on Sunday, while Double Seven will be given more time to recover from his Aintree exertions 11 days ago.

Roe also stated that there could be five runners from Britain in the spectacle, including the Jonjo O’Neill-trained pair Shutthefrontdoor and Alfie Sherrin, as well as Cantlow.
