Owner Michael O’Leary says he is “very comfortable” with the prospect of Irish hopeful Last Instalment running in today’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Last Instalment’s trainer Philip Fenton faces charges of possessing banned substances, including anabolic steroids but the horse passed a dope test earlier this month.

“People are desperate to make a controversy out of nothing,” O’Leary told the BBC.
