Make it Modista in maiden

The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor went off an unconsidered 16-1 shot on her debut at Ballinrobe last month, but performed far better than her position in the market indicated she would.
Sam James, who is again in the plate, gave the filly plenty of time to find her feet, with the selection doing all of her best work at the end to finish three and three quarter lengths runner-up behind King Of The Romans. The form is undoubtedly ordinary, but Modista appeared to have a decent attitude, handled the soft ground well and stepping up a furlong in trip is a bonus.
