Tammys Hill will now head to Leopardstown in February before taking his chance in the Foxhunters, for which Stan James make him 10/1 (from 12).

Gordon Elliott and Davy Condon, who struck with Cause Of Causes in the Ladbroke in Ascot on Saturday, were on the mark again when Torn Asunder justified 2/1 favouritism in the Maiden Hurdle.

Tom Taaffe, successful with Argocat in the Grade 2 novice chase in Limerick, completed an across-the-card double when Third Opinion (Mark Enright) foiled favourite Curley Bill and Davy Condon in the Sean Graham Bookmakers Maiden Hurdle.

The man who launched Simonsig’s career, Ian Ferguson, saddled Caesar Milan to justify favouritism in the bumper.
