O’Brien sets sights on Ballysax

Aidan O’Brien’s David Livingston, who lowered the colours of the highly-touted Akeed Mofeed in the Beresford Stakes, is one of 12 entries in Sunday’s P.W.McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown.

A race that has thrown up Derby winners Galileo and High Chaparral, O’Brien has five other possible runners, with Astrology, Athens, Frontier, Imperial Monarch and Tower Rock engaged.

Jim Bolger, successful 12 months ago with the filly Banimpire, is also strongly represented by Light Heavy, While You Wait and the unraced Night Invader, a son of Teofilo.
