County win would be huge bonus

Another brilliant festival has flown by and the last day is upon us.

I have been looking forward to this day but yesterday was a bit nervy as we hung by the phone around 10am to see if Citizenship got into the County Hurdle.

He just got in second last which was a bit tight, and it would have been terribly disappointing to miss out, especially as Jetson hadn’t got into the Pertemps. At least with Citizenship, we would have had the Martin Pipe race as an alternative option and he would have gotten into that.
