‘Excited’ Casey stuns Piggott

RTÉ presenter Tracy Piggott got more than she bargained for yesterday in a post-race interview.

After 6/4 Flemenstar demolished to field to win the Arkle Novice Chase at Leopardstown, Piggott interviewed winning trainer Peter Casey live on RTÉ.

The veteran trainer though wanted to discuss a very different kind of romp.

‘‘It’s unreal, I can’t believe it. I’ll have f***ing sex tonight,’’ Casey told the startled Piggott, before adding, ‘‘next year, please God, he’ll be a Gold Cup winner.’’

A visibly amused Piggott quickly recovered her composure and joked: ‘‘You can’t say that. You’re going to get in terrible trouble after that.’’

RTE’s Robert Hall added: ‘‘Apologies for a very excited trainer.’’
