JOCKEY Jack Mitchell will appear before the disciplinary panel of the British Horseracing Authority today.

An inquiry will be held into the sample of urine provided by Mitchell at Newmarket on May 28 this year.

The sample was found to contain benzoylecgonine, a diagnostic metabolite of cocaine and a banned substance.
