Delegator’s Aussie option

DELEGATOR could bid to end the season with a bang by seeking sprinting honours in Australia.

Delegator’s Aussie option

The Saeed bin Suroor-trained five-year-old has been entered for the AUS $1million Patinack Farm Classic, over six furlongs at Flemington on November 5, it has been reported on Godolphin’s official website.

The Group One contest is the eighth leg of the Global Sprint Challenge. Delegator made a claim for sprinting honours when winning the Duke of York Stakes in May, but he was fifth from a bad draw in the July Cup at Newmarket before being a big disappointment in the Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
