DROPPING from stakes company, French Emperor recorded a convincing win for Eddie Lynam and Colm O’Donoghue in the six-furlong Panoramic Restaurant 2-Y- Auction Race at Naas yesterday.

The Holy Roman Emperor colt made all, quickened clear with more than a furlong to race and ran on well to beat Pitlochry by a length and a half.

Lynam confirmed: “He appreciated the drop in class and Colm said he was very professional. He’s in a listed race in Tipperary on Friday and might go there.”
