Twice the value in York feature

THE Group 2 Sky Bet York Stakes is the feature event on the Knavesmire this afternoon and it looks an ideal opportunity for Henry Cecil’s Twice Over to rediscover some winning form.

The classy colt, who has won the Newmarket Champion Stakes twice and the Coral-Eclipse once, has been a shade below his best form this season but can be expected to bounce back here.

He started his campaign back in March at Meydan, where a Group 2 success preceded a reasonable effort in the Dubai World Cup, in which he was ninth, beaten just five lengths behind Victoire Pisa.
