Kauto Stone joins Nicholls

KAUTO Stone, a half-brother to Kauto Star, has joined his esteemed older sibling at Paul Nicholls’ yard in Ditcheat.

The five-year-old chestnut had previously been trained in France by Jehan Bertran de Balanda, for whom he won five of his 14 starts – including a Grade One chase at Auteuil last November.

Nicholls told the Daily Mail: “He’s not as big as Kauto Star.
