Minella magic in National test

MINELLA Boys denied last year’s winner Master Overseer when grinding out victory in the At The Races Sussex National at Plumpton yesterday.

Master Overseer tried to slug it out in this marathon handicap chase but did not have his own way as Rebel Melody shared front-running duties.

The odd error did not help David Pipe’s charge either but when Rebel Melody cried enough after four out, Master Overseer was still going well at the head of affairs.
