What racing needs to do to attract bigger crowds

You hear this said a lot but I have honestly never seen snow as bad this early. It’s frustrating as it impacts on what you can do with the horses and racing is put on hold but it’s the same for everyone.

It’s hard to know what will happen right now and everyone is taking it day by day. You wouldn’t imagine that there would be racing before next weekend but you’d never know.

As the photographs we took for our website www.jessicaharringtonracing.com show, it is very picturesque at Commonstown but I’m not exaggerating when I say that we have had 18 inches of snow. We have managed to keep things going though and kept the horses ticking over throughout the week.
