Ruby back next week

RUBY WALSH, absent since breaking his arm in three places at the Grand National meeting at Aintree in April, will return to action next week.

Speaking at Tramore yesterday his sister and agent, Jennifer, said: “Ruby was given the all-clear by Bill Quinlan (orthopaedic surgeon) in Dublin on Wednesday.

“He could return at Roscommon next Monday. If not, then the plan is that he will definitely be at Killarney for the four-day Festival, starting on Tuesday.”
