RUBY WALSH’S 2010 Cheltenham Festival may not have been quite all he had hoped for but the Irish Examiner columnist ended up the leading jockey at the meeting for the fifth time.

Walsh was out of luck in both the Gold Cup with Kauto Star and the Champion Chase with Master Minded, but three other winners had already enabled him to overtake Pat Taaffe as the most successful Festival rider in history.

Three winners for Nicky Henderson saw him win the Thomas Pink Leading Trainer award.
