Doctor delivers for Stoute

SIR Michael Stoute has made the Princess Of Wales’s Blue Square Stakes his own over the years and enhanced his admirable record as Doctor Fremantle breezed home on the second day of Newmarket’s July meeting yesterday.

Stoute was already the current leading trainer with six victories to his name, and he brought up the septet as last year’s Derby fourth avoided trouble in running to score by a neck.

Ryan Moore steered his way through and kept clear of the scrimmaging in behind aboard the 8-1 winner, with the long-time leader Schiaparelli wandering across the track through the final furlong and interfering with Alwaary before finishing second.
