The anonymous player bagged £669,465 after picking the winner of each of last week’s nominated six races, also giving himself the opportunity to play for the bonus fund of £2,755,923.
The Suffolk backer, whose identity is a closely-guarded secret, has promised to donate the prize to the Legion who are guaranteed a donation of some kind today, with the Tote placing a £1,000 bet on the eventual winner of the race in case the bonus selection fails to win.
