Stiff uphill finish is just made for Express Leader

I HAVE a dozen rides at Cheltenham over the next two days and, obviously, am very much hoping to get among the winners.

But the main aim is to leave Prestbury Park tomorrow evening relatively unscathed. It was on this day last year that I suffered a dislocated shoulder and was out until returning on Kauto Star in the King George at Christmas.

The horse who put me away was called Willyandwoody. He was dead even before crashing into a fence and, truth to tell, nearly killed me as well.
