Secret can go one better
Dermot Weld’s daughter of Invincible Spirit has run two reasonably promising races and is fancied to overcome an absence of 96 days in what looks a moderate contest.
She began by finishing fourth behind Marina Of Venice at the Curragh on Derby weekend and was then a strong order at Leopardstown about a month later. You would have too say Intimate Secret’s performance then was mildly disappointing in that she had the run of the race and yet failed by three parts of a length to hold Monivea.
