CHELTENHAM Gold Cup hero Denman is currently on the easy list.

Reports from Paul Nicholls last night indicated that he has a minor heart problem, believed to be an irregular heart beat. He was being prepared for another assault on the Hennessy at Newbury in November, which he won so impressively last year. He definitely misses that race now but Nicholls hopes that he will be back in action at Christmas.

His likely target would be the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown. He also won that race in 2007 beating Mossbank an easy four lengths.
