DANNY MULLINS, the rising young star of flat racing, drove the Paul Cashman-trained 20-1 shot Glitter Baby to a decisive victory in the featured Guinness Handicap at Galway last night.

He is just 16-years-of-age and is a son of trainers Tony and Mags Mullins. Attached to the Jim Bolger yard, Mullins went on to complete a spectacular first ever treble, taking his overall total to 15.

For Castlelyons handler, Cashman, it was the biggest success of his career, after Mullins had given the daughter of Danehill Dancer the most beautiful of drives.
