Fallon sweet on Yeats’ hat-trick bid

KIEREN Fallon expects his old partner Yeats to bag an historic treble in Thursday’s Gold Cup at Royal Ascot.

Fallon sweet on Yeats’ hat-trick bid

The seven-year-old will be bidding to equal Sagaro’s hat-trick in the two-and-a-half-mile contest, with Fallon having ridden him for the first of those victories in 2006 when Aidan O’Brien’s retained rider.

Mick Kinane was aboard last year and Johnny Murtagh is set to ride the Sadler’s Wells horse this time around, leaving Fallon confident Yeats can secure his own place in the record books.
