PAUL Nicholls has confirmed Denman to be in tip-top shape, despite a wobble in the ante-post markets for the Lexus Chase.

The hugely-impressive winner of the Hennessy Gold Cup drifted to well over odds-against on betting exchange Betfair for his next intended target at Leopardstown on December 28.

Some bookmakers suspended their markets, but Nicholls has stressed there is nothing amiss.
