Stick with Scotsirish

IF Willie Mullins leaves Thurles empty-handed this afternoon then chances are the layers will have had very much the better of the battle!

The Carlow handler’s Scotsirish gets the nap in the www.thurlesraces.ie Beginners Chase. A former useful novice hurdler, he made a solid start over fences at Galway last month and has plenty going for him now.

At Galway he took one or two risks along the way, but his jumping was essentially impressive and, hopefully, he will build on that.
