Charlie team have worries about trip
Tommy Stackâs exciting juvenile maintained his unbeaten record with a smooth two-length success over Prix Robert Papin heroine Natagora in Sundayâs Group One highlight in Deauville.
âWeâll probably look at the Middle Park or the Dewhurst for him and I think seven furlongs shouldnât be a problem. I hope heâll get a mile next year,â said Fozzy Stack, son and assistant to Tommy. âHe has a lovely action so there is no reason why he shouldnât go on faster ground.
âHe did it well yesterday. He travelled very well and then quickened up quickly as he seems to have done in all his races.
âWe were very happy with the performance on the day and Kieren (Fallon) gave him a great ride â it all went to plan,â he told At The Races.
âHe went past Natagora very quick and in hindsight probably got there a bit soon and just idled a bit going towards the line.â
