Tattersalls to sponsor Champion Stakes

TATTERSALLS, Europe’s largest bloodstock auctioneers, are the new sponsors of the Irish Champion Stakes, initially for a three-year period starting this year.

The Group One race, to be known as the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes will be run at Leopardstown on Saturday 8th September, with a total prize fund of €1,000,000.

* Dual 1000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo is set to miss her intended engagement in Sunday’s Prix d’Astarte at Deauville due to the likelihood of soft ground.
