TEACHERS CHOICE, making a quick reappearance following a promising effort at the Curragh on Sunday, can give us a big run in the Fonezone Telecommunications Handicap at Down Royal tonight.

The four-year-old contested a highly competitive 29-runner six furlongs sprint at headquarters, finishing a creditable third behind Wychwood Wanderer and Inwood.

Wychwood Wanderer was drawn in five near the rails, while the runner-up came out of box 14. In contrast, the selection had the very worst of the draw, over on the far side in 30.
