VCBet open luxury Lounge in Cork
The new lounge is the second retail outlet opened by the bookmakers and is the first outside of Dublin. It represents an investment of €400,000 and has a full-time staff of five. The lounge is 50 sqm and features walnut finish fittings, high definition plasma screens and a luxurious outdoor area which includes a plasma TV.
Based in Gibraltar, Victor Chandler entered the Irish market in 2005 when it began trading at its betting lounge at Upper Baggot Street. The Group also sponsors the €110,000 the Grade 1 VCBet Champion Novice Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival as well as the VCPoker.ie Irish Professional Snooker Championships.
