Salt Lake ready to get off the mark

SALT LAKE can get off the mark over flights at the third time of asking in the O’Dwyer Steel Maiden Hurdle at Tipperary tonight.

The ex-German horse had his first outing in this country at Limerick back in March. He finished four and a half lengths second behind the useful Josephine Cullen and that was a promising start.

The son of Monsun then had a spin on the flat at the Curragh, before being put away for the summer.
