YEATS stands out among the 11 confirmations yesterday for Saturday’s Irish Field St Leger at the Curragh.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained five-year-old followed up his victory in the Ascot Gold Cup with an equally commanding success in the Goodwood Cup last time.

He will be bidding for a third career success at the highest level if lining up in the mile-and-six-furlong contest.
