Laywaan can get off mark at second attempt
The daughter of Fantastic Light made a promising start at Cork earlier in the month and normal improvement should see her oblige.
The selection went to the front half way up the straight, but was run out of it close home and beaten a neck by Uva Fragola.
That contest was over an extended mile and the slight concern now is the fact Laywaan is dropping down to seven furlongs.
But trainer, Dermot Weld, will be aware of that and the likelihood is Pat Smullen will make plenty use of his charge.
Velvet, beaten two lengths by odds-on Global Wings at Tipperary over this trip, is the obvious worry.
Jim Bolger's Anna's Rock should prove hard to beat in the opening Irish Stallion Farms' EBF Fillies Maiden.
She performed solidly when a length and a half and a neck third behind Chanting and Duke Of Marmalade at Leopardstown.
Duke Of Marmalade scored at the Curragh on Friday night and moving up another furlong now can only work in favour of Anna's Rock.
Bolger may complete a double with Strut The Stage in another Irish Stallion Farms' event, the one mile Maiden.
Admittedly, his form is ordinary, finishing over five lengths third to Malacara at Tipperary, but gets the vote in the absence of any inspiration regarding the Weld newcomer, Man With A Plan!
