Dispol Veleta can defy penalty to score again

A big run is expected from Dispol Veleta when she goes to post in the Renault Vans Fillies’ Handicap over a mile at Newcastle.

The five-year-old mare has fared well in her career to date, with a couple of victories on the all-weather and four wins on turf – all six of those successes being gained over today’s trip.

Showing steady form this term, she notched a stylish win when dropped back to a mile at Hamilton earlier this month, running on in determined style to win by an easy five lengths.
