Big drop in class for Airwave

AIRWAVE drops back to Listed company for the Land O’Burns Fillies’ Stakes at Ayr today.

The Henry Candy trained filly, winner of the Group One Cheveley Park Stakes in 2002, will be seeking her first win since last May when she was an impressive winner of the Temple Stakes at Sandown.

Airwave, who will be ridden by Darryll Holland for the first time, has failed to make the places in three starts in top company this term, most recently when ninth behind Frizzante in the July Cup at Newmarket.
