HARTSHEAD can land a first career success in the Tote Bookmakers Series Handicap at Hamilton.

Alan Swinbank’s charge has been struggling to find his level a little this season but he was not disgraced last time at Beverley when a six-length fifth to Raphael over a mile.

The winner was a good thing that day but Hartshead looked as though an extra furlong could bring out the best in him.
