Fantasy and Moment the Irish stars
There was a full house present for Irish greyhound racing’s social night of the year. Opinions were certainly divided in advance regarding a few categories, but on the night few had complaints.
Naturally the connections of Like A Shot and Never Give Up were disappointed that they didn’t get the nod, but few could argue when Premier Fantasy was named Dog of the Year. The brilliant son of Premier County had captured the hearts of the race-going public when winning the 2004 Easter Cup in a national record 28.08. That victory came on April 10th, exactly twelve months to the day!
