Jockey Club confirms Valleys failed dope test
The Roger Charlton-trained youngster tested positive for clenbuterol, but he will not be stripped of his Group One success until after the result of the B sample is known. That will not be for several weeks.
âThe B sample has not been done yet, so itâs just a preliminary positive. We wonât confirm it as a positive until after the B sample has been returned to us,â said Jockey Club spokesman Owen Byrne yesterday.
