WHEN you're George Steinbrenner and you're the owner of the richest team in baseball you get used to being the object of scorn, jealousy and, often, downright hatred.

Even the New York Yankees owner may be a little surprised, however, to see his Kentucky Derby favourite Bellamy Road the target of a tactical spoiling plan for tomorrow's 131st running of the thoroughbred classic.
