Stick with Tyrur Ted

TYRUR TED can consolidate his favouritism in the ante-post market for the Cashmans Irish Laurels by taking heat seven at Curraheen Park tonight.

Paul Hennessy’s ace survive a first bend bump when carding 28.90 last week, prompting connection to switch to an inside seeding.

Tyrur Ted has a three draw tonight but looks a cut above the opposition.

Hennessy can also score with Goblet Of Fire in the opening heat.

Ian Reilly also has double prospects with Hee Haws Cantona and Superhods Hero.

Hee Haws Cantona showed plenty of early dash after a moderate break when carding 28.58 last Thursday week and can overcome a three draw in heat six.

Superhods Hero encountered plenty of traffic problems from a middle berth when a beaten favourite in the opening round, going under by the minimum margin in 28.88. A switch to the inside should see him recoup losses in heat four.

Student Pass mistimed his exit when beaten at odds-on last weekend, finishing second in 28.84.

That was his first outings in over two months, however, and he can make amends in heat five.

Heat eight promises a cracking duel between Ballymac Floss and Blue Majestic, both 28.61 heat winners.

The former has the best of the draw but the Seamus Graham trained Blue Majestic was having his first race here last week and may have greater scope.

Come Home Honcho, always in the front rank when beating Superhods Hero, has sound claims from a rails draw in heat two while Student Pass’s conqueror, Hi King Closure, should go well from another outside berth in heat three.
