Marshals Supreme can rule at Knockgraffon

ALTHOUGH there was little to choose between all the contenders in yesterday’s opening two rounds, Marshals Supreme is taken to get the better of Leading Oscar in the final of the Derby Trial Stake at the Knockgraffon coursing meeting in New Inn, Co. Tipperary.

In the first quarter, New Highlander may shade it against Great Falls this morning. He could then go on to meet Castlemyles for a place in the semi-final. The latter could have a tough course with Colina Briggs but should then go on to beat New Highlander in the quarter-final.

In the second quarter, Well Boy will be expected to put out Stroll On Over on yesterday’s form, while Leading Oscar can account for Landfall Quarry. Leading Oscar gets the vote to advance.
