The going at the course was changed to good to firm, firm in places during racing today after a dry week leading up to the meeting.

Butler's runner is one of 14 declared runners for the mile race but the Blewsbury handler is most dissatisfied with the going at the Berkshire track and he does not want to risk the gelding on very firm going.
