TRACK record holder Nikita Billie made a sensational exit from the Cashman 575 Stake at Curraheen Park on Saturday night.

Having set new figures of 30.62 for the trip the previous week, the Maurice O’Connor trained dog was a 6/4 chance to follow-up on Saturday.

He didn’t break as well as he did in the heats, but was motoring nicely just in behind Three Bells Hell and Canary Captain approaching the opening bend when he lost his action, slipped and slid out of the competition.
