POINT fans will head in droves to Ballynoe on Sunday for the 60th anniversary of this popular meeting, run under the auspices of the United Hunt Club.

It will take place over a slightly-altered (right-handed) course this year.

The Gain Mares Final occupies centre stage at Ballynoe. Gain and irish-point-to-point.com, sponsors of the mares point-to-point bumper at Tipperary in May, have joined forces to offer a €2, 500 bonus if the winner of the ‘Gain’ goes on to capture the bumper at Tipperary.
